About Smooth PR

Smooth PR’s director, Lucy Calvert, has over ten years experience working in PR and communications both agency and client side. She has worked with a vast range of clients from start-ups to large international corporations, making small and large budgets work hard across the full range of communication channels.

It is her experience with small and start-up businesses, and the expertise of creating effective campaigns with small budgets, which has inspired her to create and provide the PR training courses offered by Smooth PR.

A member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations and the National Union of Journalists, Lucy is passionate about her craft and has been recognised within the industry.

Originally from Yorkshire, Lucy now lives in Southampton, volunteers for the local MS Society branch, and is trying to write a cook book in her spare time.

Smooth PR is based in Southampton, Hampshire, but courses can be delivered wherever you are and, as copywriting briefs can be taken over the phone, Smooth PR can still provide you with a personal service.
